Countless crystals are still waiting to be discovered in crevices and fissures; the mountain region of the Surselva is famous for its hidden treasures. Our local experts will take you on a treasure hunt for crystals. Not only will they let you in on their secret spots and show the art of “strahlen”, but they will also give you the chance to find your own gems. With a bit of luck, you will find your very own crystal.
Guest Program Sedrun Disentis Tourism – Individual Booking
Bookable every Tuesday from 2 July to 13 August and 1 to 15 Oktober 2024, as part of the guest program «Bialas vacanzas» of Disentis Sedrun Tourismus under Strahler-Excursion. The program is bookable for groups and families and is recommended for kids ages seven and up.
The meeting point is at 8.40 in Sedrun at the bottom of the Sedrun-Cuolm da Vi cable car station. Goolgemaps. (Train arrive at 8.31 from Disentis). Already at the top of the cable car station at 2’400 meters above sea level, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Surselva. From there, we will begin our ascent to 2’500 meters, where we will be exploring the world of crystals, equipped with a hammer and chisel. The hiking time from Culom da Vi, the top station of the cable car, is a leisurely 1.5 hours one way. We will return there at 15:30 to take the cable car back down to Sedrun/Salins.
Equipment: Good shoes, hiking gear, work gloves, hiking lunch. Please leave room in the backpack for the tools.
