Sometimes two days in the mountains are just as relaxing as two weeks in Mallorca… Just getting away from it all, but without the hassle of travelling. That’s why we’re expanding our winter programme for ski tourers to include short multi-day tours with overnight stays in mountain huts. The Tödi, or Piz Russein – the highest peak in the Glarus Alps and within the municipal area of Disentis/Mustér – is a dream destination for many mountaineers. However, the tour is very long, even on skis. We’re therefore planning the tour to include an overnight stay at the Camona da Punteglias, which offers you – and us – two advantages: the day spent reaching the summit is significantly shorter – and you can enjoy two full days of ‘time out’. Our two-day tour to Clariden, with an overnight stay in the hut of the same name, takes us high above the Urnerboden under the motto ‘Summit delights in the Glarus region’. We’ll also be offering two-day tours to Piz Medel with an overnight stay in future – incidentally, the hut of the same name is renowned for its culinary delights, and not without reason…

The Valais Haute Route, from Zermatt to Chamonix

Ski and freeride Tours from the hotel

You bring your skis; we’ll take care of the rest. On our ski touring weekend for advanced skiers, you can rely entirely on the expertise of our guides and mountain leaders. They know exactly where the best conditions are and how to make the most of your time in our region for maximum fun in the snow. Where necessary, we’ll make use of the ski resorts’ lifts, allowing you to cover even more vertical. Nowhere else are so many fantastic deep-snow runs so easily accessible from the edge of the piste – and often just a few minutes’ walk away.
